Real Madrid and Dua Kelinci sign two-year sponsorship deal for Indonesia

Real Madrid has struck a country-specific deal with Indonesian snack company Dua Kelinci.

Under terms of the deal, Dua Kelinci will become an official sponsor of Real Madrid, enabling the company to utlilise the Real Madrid logo, brand and players in nationwide promotional purposes.

As yet there has been no indication as to the financial value of the agreement.

In a statement on Real Madrid’s official website, Emilio Butragueño, the club’s director of institutional relations, said, “This collaborative effort will bring many benefits to our supporters in the Southeast Asian country.”

Additionally, to promote the collaboration between the two organisations, former Real Madrid star Luis Figo visited the Indonesian capital of Jakarta to participate in a children’s soccer coaching clinic at the 5,000 capacity Soemantri Brojonegoro stadium.

“This partnership is a strategic step towards improving the company’s image. It will help us expand our brand in the international market,” said Dua Kelinci deputy director, Edwin Sutiono, upon signing the agreement.

Butragueño added, “This deal will bring many benefits to our supporters in Indonesia, and it will allow Dua Kelinci to reach out and provide inspiration to a younger market through Real Madrid.”
