Oknoplast becomes new Internazionale sponsor
Serie A giant Internazionale has agreed a deal for Oknoplast to become the club’s fifth ‘top sponsor’.
The Polish PVC window and door manufacturer has agreed a deal with the Milan club through the 2012-13 season. Oknoplast has operated in Italy since 2007, and with 400 sales outlets is now in second place in the market. The company closed 2011 with a 20% increase in sales compared to the previous year and it will aim to use its relationship with Inter to boost its brand recognition in its core markets of Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, along with Italy itself.
Oknoplast joins SuisseGas, TIM, Trentino and Volvo in Inter’s top sponsor portfolio.
Oknoplast’s name will not be appearing on Inter Milan’s shirts. Oknoplast’s investment will be seen through the presence of its brand throughout the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in Appiano Gentile and on the official F.C. Internazionale website, and also in advertising and in corporate hospitality.
Oknoplast president Mikolaj Placek said: “In all markets our aim is to show we are a company that can dictate new trends, communicating the commitment of our group regarding the research, quality, elegance and design that go into our products. Sponsoring Internazionale will help us reach thousands of fans and not only Italians in order to show our commitment alongside a team of such valour.”
